At BIA College, our curriculum draws inspiration from the esteemed Al-Baqiathus Salihath in India, which has laid the foundation for our seven-year Islamic and Arabic studies (Moulavi) course. Over time, we have enriched this curriculum with contributions from contemporary scholars, ensuring a comprehensive and well-rounded education for our students. Students are also provided with the tools necessary to navigate the complexities of the modern world whilst staying true to their Islamic values.

The course curriculum encompasses a wide range of subjects, providing students with a holistic understanding of Islamic studies including Aqeedah (theology), Fiqh (jurisprudence), Tasawuf (spirituality), Hadith (prophetic traditions), Tafsir (Quranic exegesis), Meeras (legacy of Islamic scholars), Mantiq (logic), Balagha (rhetoric), and much more.

The academic journey at BIA College begins with a strong emphasis on rules and discipline. Right from the start, all students are expected to adhere strictly to the college’s regulations. To establish a solid foundation in the Arabic language and grammar, the curriculum commences with “Arba-athul Kuthub,” a segment that requires students to complete four books covering Fiqh, Aqeedah, Du’a, and Hadith.

As studies progress, students delve deeper into other subjects through the study of additional texts. This includes advanced topics in Arabic grammar and conversation, in-depth exploration of Hadith literature, comprehensive knowledge of the life of the beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), formal Arabic writing skills, pronunciation practice, understanding of Islamic jurisprudence, differentiation between Halal and Haram, Quranic exegesis (thafseer).
