TOP HONORS FOR BIA COLLEGE STUDENTS IN
NATIONWIDE COMPETITION

BIA College has once again proved its mettle in academic excellence at a nationwide competition organized by Ittihad Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’ah. This prestigious event, which draws the brightest islamic students from across Sri Lanka, was a battleground for showcasing mastery in Arabic Literature, Rules of Fathwa, and General Knowledge.

The competition was intense. Yet, the students from BIA College stood out, with two students securing the first and second positions in the all-island rankings. Mohammed Aadhil Deen from Negombo secured the first place, while Mohamed Farwis Mushraf from Talaimannar secured the second place.

What sets this achievement apart is the fact that the four students from BIA College were amidst their “Moulavi” course, with a year still remaining to complete their studies, whereas most other participants had already completed their “Moulavi” courses at other institutions. Yet, their superior knowledge and unwavering determination saw them through, as they clinched the Champion and Runner-up positions, outperforming their peers across the nation. We believe that this is not just a win for the students; it’s a testament to the high standard of education and the nurturing environment provided by the BIA College.

Based on their brilliant performances, Mohammed Aadhil Deen and Mohamed Farwis Mushraf have been awarded the opportunity to further their islamic studies at the prestigious Al-Azhar University in Egypt, one of the most renowned religious educational institutions in the world.
