BIA COLLEGE LAUNCHES A BRAND-NEW WEBSITE

On 25 August 2024, BIA College officially launched its brand-new website at a special ceremony held at the College premises in Galle Fort.

At the launching ceremony, the Principal of the College, Khalifathush Shazuli Al Usthaz Muhammed Razook (Bahji) gave an address about the significance of the occasion and recited the Dua. A member of the Board of Management, Dr Sharmil Markar gave an overview and spoke about the significance of the BIA College website. He also acknowledged and thanked all those who contributed to the development of the website. The Director of Studies, Raheesul Mukaddamin Al Usthaz M F M Fazil (Bahji) gave the vote of thanks. A member of the College staff, Al Usthaz M Zamrin (Bahji) was the Master of Ceremonies.

The new website boasts a modern design, intuitive navigation, and a wealth of information about the College, including its history, administration, academic activities and achievements. A news and events page, which includes a photo gallery, highlights important news about the College and its recent achievements. A knowledge hub page contains presentations made by college staff on important religious topics.

The website is interactive and can be browsed in three languages: English, Arabic and Tamil. It provides a platform for people interested in the BIA College to learn about the college, and its activities and achievements at their leisure.
